Inspiration Mini-Twist
Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida of Niemeyer Soares is a Brazilian architect and designer, born December 15, 1907 in Rio de Janeiro
He is one of the most famous Brazilian architects. His work is closely aligned with the international style movement and holds a major place in the history of modern architecture.
He participated in the construction of the United Nations headquarters in New York in 1952. He is best known for the construction of Brasilia in Brazil with the planner Lucio Costa, inaugurated in 1960.
Exiled in Europe in the mid-1960s, he notably built the headquarters of the French Communist Party, the former headquarters of the newspaper L'Humanité, the Bobigny Labor Exchange and the House of Culture of Le Havre. Awarded the Pritzker Prize in 1988, he was made Commander of the Legion of Honor in December 2007, three days before his 100th birthday. Oscar Niemeyer died on December 5, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro.
Inspired by his work on lines and movements, I wanted to create a bag that plays with contrasts, between light and shadow, straight lines and curves, giving life to the capsule "Curve" and more particularly to "Mini-Twist" , singular little bag and so original.
